Just got banned from the Rant

He takes it way too far now, but IMO he's easier to ignore because at least he seems to keep it contained. I haven't even clicked on his continuously-bumped self post, for example.

The ones I don't care for are like NFLSU, where he posts almost the exact same illogical, venomous comment in every single thread on the board, multiple times. To me that's just like graffiti, and it gets tiring to look at over and over.

Of course WT21 could also be NFLSU — such is the dichotomy of man.

William has some legitimate skill he’s developed, IMO. And this may be an unpopular opinion, but he’s become much more tolerable over the last couple of years - because he’s learned how to better use his schtick.

It has been discussed, but he really put himself in a tough spot for a while, because he let the schtick become a one trick pony, and it was targeted at one fanbase. That becomes so easily ignored and doesn’t move the needle for pretty much anyone except a handful of lowest common denominator type LSU fans.

He’s made some solid adjustments, IMO, although he’s probably still backed into a bit of a corner with the shtick, as paperwasp mentioned. If you go back and look at some of his earlier posts, he’s just a normal dude. Doubt we see him pull that out of the closet again with the WT21 handle, but it’s in there.

I agree he's more tolerable now, but when the point of comparison is back when he used to post "41-14 lol" multiple times in every single thread regardless of the topic, that's a pretty low bar to hop over.

I might hold the record. I am one of the longest term posters there, having registered on 10/22/2005. SEC Rant didn't even exist at that time. It was only Tiger Rant.

I told Chicken once that he needed to search my posts. I try to never get nasty first, but if you attack. I will take it off the charts.

Lying LewDawgShit is one problem I have with the place. He is a punk. He is good to ban people and then post lies about the banned poster. His sorry ass knows they can't defend themselves. He actually posted that I said something about "hanging Nick Chubb's ACL on my wall like a trophy." That is a straight up lie. I have NEVER cheered an injury. I would have loved to call him out, and tell that lying piece of shit to link it. He was good to ban people that he didn't like or his buddies didn't like, not for violation of TOS. He took his ball and went home when Chicken made him quit banning people on a whim.

Lew is one of only three people in that forum that it wouldn't bother me to come face to face with under less than friendly circumstances. That is after 18½ years in the place. Everyone else I would buy a beer, and I don't even drink.

The admin team there are the biggest chickenshits I have ever found online. It is the only forum I have ever been in where the admins stay hidden. Out of all the bans and nasty messages I have received over the years. Only Chicken has ever signed his name to them.

Once they start banning you, it never stops. I was there 10-11 years before ever getting banned. Once it started it has never let up.

They are already behind an anonymous name on the forum, and they are still too chickenshit to sign their dirty work? Allowing admins to hide brings out the worst in a forum. Cliques are formed and people get banned because, "he said something to my butt buddy, I am banning him."

Another thing is the cocksuckers that holler "alter" at every new poster. There is a certain Kentucky fan who is the champion of that activity. LSU poster BillyBoy is another one.

One guy has my posting style down to a science. I have read his posts and did a double take to make sure it wasn't something I posted. I think I know who he is, but I'm not certain enough to point the finger. He does it on purpose and one day I will narrow down who it is. Not even mad about it. I think it is funny.

I have made names before to tell some of the idiots, "That's not SOJ, I am SOJ." The name doesn't last long after that.

I am certain the admins have alters. cajunbama got away with way too much for way too long.

By the way, any of you who mentioned WT21 and LSUFreek in the same breath need to ban yourself for at least a month.

If you gave me that forum tomorrow morning. The one thing that would change is the chickenshit admin system I have discussed. Admins would be identified on their profile, and punitive actions would be signed.

I have found I can only take the childish trolling on the Rant in small doses. I get bored with it very quickly.

I get it that they don't want you to troll TD ... that's totally fair and I completely support that.

But on the rant, all it takes is one OG LSU fan from that site to RA you and you're done. They're too oppressive there.

In the past, most trolls were actually good at it and it was entertaining as hell but the last 3-4 years it's gotten worse and worse. Char's like metry/mulkey, sidewalk, willyt and a few others have cart blanche on the rant but fans from any other teams get banned right away unless they're specifically trolling Bama or Georgia.

So, frick them.

Pardon me if I’m wrong but are you a former SECRant Best Poster Winner? You’re a good lad either way. I hope this board picks up steam. It has great potential and look forward to good, competitive banter. There are a contingency of posters over there who are just constantly annoying without posting anything of substance.
